We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. We recognize that to be successful in school, our children need support from both home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a significant difference in your child’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities.

  • The primary goal of public education is to offer quality educational opportunities to all children, preparing them for successful lives in society. The Hornbeck High School faculty and staff accept this goal as a responsibility and a challenge.

We believe a collaborative alliance of the professional staff, student body, parents, and community should exist for purposes of planning and implementing the total education process. This effort should always include an awareness of the dignity and worth of the individual and his or her place in society. Consequently, the school should offer a comprehensive curriculum designed to meet the needs and goals of each student. Individuals planning to continue formal education as well as those choosing to enter the workforce deserve to be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and insight needed to accept the responsibilities and challenges of life.
